Media.
Community.
Europe.

Under The Stars is both a media outlet and a community, built by and for the under-30 generation of the European Union. We exist to give this generation a voice: independent, plural, honest.

A structured editorial network with the ambition to become a recognised cultural voice across the continent.

The European Union is one of the most ambitious political projects in history. The people living it rarely get to tell its story. Under The Stars changes that: by building an archive of perspectives that will outlast any news cycle.

Young, for the younger.

Four principles
we don't negotiate.

Foundation
Independence

No political affiliation, no funding that compromises editorial direction. Every voice in the network is free to form their own conclusions.

Core
Pluralism

Hundreds of perspectives across the EU: from left, right, centre, and beyond. The network holds no single political line. Disagreement is the point.

Standard
Verified sources

Every claim rests on named sources, cited data, and editorial review.

Limit
Zero extremism

Open to every political view within the democratic spectrum. Extremism, left or right, has no place here.

Four lenses on Europe

Politics & Current Affairs

The decisions that shape our lives

From European Parliament votes to local elections, from institutional reform to the data behind public opinion: election results, social trends, polling. We report on power without celebrating or condemning it.

Bilingual · Named sources · Data-driven · Independent editorial line

Economy

Inheriting complexity

Under-30s live inside an economy shaped by decisions they didn't make: inflation, housing crises, labour market shifts, the green transition. We report it with depth and without dogma.

Bilingual · Data-grounded · Multiple national perspectives

Technology & Innovation

The futures being built now

Artificial intelligence, digital rights, platform regulation, and the systems that now mediate our lives. We do not hype, and we do not panic.

Bilingual · Expert contributors · EU policy focus

Mobile Topic

The fourth lens

A rotating section that moves with the European moment. Its subject changes as the continent does: our most experimental space.

How content
is published

Every piece follows the same path. Every voice keeps its own.

  1. 01
    Write

A member writes a short, sharp article, readable in about a minute, in English and their native language, with verifiable sources.

  2. 02
    Verify

The article goes to the national correspondent, who checks sources and tone. At UTS we verify that a fact is true, not that an idea is "right."

  3. 03
    Publish

Once approved, the team formats the piece to the network's visual standard and publishes it on the official channels, with the sources open to the reader.

  4. 04
    Archive

We print every published article, press it onto CD, and archive it. Platforms disappear. The record does not.

Curated, credible content, where each voice keeps its identity and shares one visual language.

Beyond the article
UNDER THE STARS THE COMMON STAR
The rarest recognition

The Common Star

In a network of independent voices, consensus is rare. The network awards the Common Star only when every member agrees, with no exception. Nobody can lobby for it, and nobody can schedule it.

Signed by All
Condition
Unanimous

Every member must agree. One dissent withholds it.

Nature
Unreplicable

Anyone can propose it. Nobody can lobby for it or schedule it, and there are no written criteria.

Duration
Permanent

Once awarded, a Common Star stays in the archive for good.
